The
2004 Panama City Beach Cheer Camp at Edgewater Beach Resort that the Mowat Cheerleaders will attend is coming up soon!
The parents of the Mowat Cheerleaders met on Monday, April 26, to discuss payments that are due for camp and the dates.
The dates scheduled for camp are the following: July 9-12, 2004. Friday, July 9th, will be the day we meet
at Edgewater to get acquainted with other cheerleading squads attending camp, settling into the rooms that the squad
will be staying (room assignments have been decided, they will be put on here a little later!), and starting classes.
Friday night will be the Annual Home Pom Competition in an indoor air-conditioned facility. There will be no charge
for family members and guests to view the competition! So come out and watch the cheerleaders perform and cheer them on!
The Mowat Cheerleaders came in 1st place in this event last year @ camp and we hope to do the same this year! Monday,
July 12th, the last day of camp will be a day of awards and the last performances at camp. It has been said that there will
be over 500 cheerleaders @ camp!:o

Camp
Activities
Camp is always a blast
for the girls! Some of the activities include dances, cheers, stunting, and chants. The girls will also take part
in spirit building activities and fun things, including luaus and just having fun around the resort!
This year, "Crazy" Day
will be held on Sunday, the third day of camp, where the squads will use their imaginations to try to become the most
colorful, creative and "Crazy" squad @ camp. The girls ideas for "Crazy Day" will be worn from morning to
dinner and the UCA's staff will then judge the squads and pick a winner! The girls are already working on ideas for
this year's "Crazy Day" and we hope that our squad is the winner!
There will be a UCA camp
store set up so that the girls will be able to purchase UCA and cheer merchandise.
The girls are very excited
about camp, and we are sure that they will do a great job!
